alas, my favorite band, Guided By Voices, broke up on New Year’s Day 2005. fortunately, they’ve left a legacy of hundreds — if not thousands of songs. I’ve put together a carefully-selected playlist of my favorite GBV songs — 89 of them. That’s 3 hours, sixteen minutes; taking up only 180MB on my iPod. Doing the math, each song averages 2 minutes, 12 seconds and just over 2MB. You’ve got to love that efficiency...

being the material girl that i am...appeals not only to my inner sense of order, but to my desire to consume a thing of worth out side of my self...i'll get started right away...
trena - you're very brave. Mrs. Bitter is not particularly fond of GBV, with their noisy indy garage pop stylings and faux British accents. On the other hand, that's why I like them so much...
my oldest kid likes them, too...he continues to surprise me...:)
