    We live on a dark, unpaved, private road across the street from a state park that is overgrown with dead trees and thorny bushes and features a brook that has degenerated into a sort of swamp. We're not likely to get any spontaneous trick-or-treaters, but we have enough candy to feed every elementary school student in our town for a week.
