Am I imagining things, or do you use those last two lines more than once a year?
It's very possible that I've used those lines before, but I don't think I've done so this year or last - or at least I haven't found the word "sneakers" more than once in my on-line archive.
That raises a question: if you steal a line from yourself is it still plagiarism?

as for the plagiarism vs. narcissism dilemma, I prefer to think I'm merely advocating the practice of recycling.
In scientific writing, if you steal a line even from yourself, it's considered plagarism!
my wife has a button that says "plagiarism saves time".
