Paul's Hour of Dark, Dreamy Pop
Yesterday I had the privilege of guest-hosting for an hour on my favorite radio program The James Dean Deathcar Experience. I tried to avoid an hour of tirelessly punky pop songs, instead breaking the hour up into three distinct sets averaging five songs each. I called them “Dark,” “Dreamy” and, because I just can’t help myself, “Poppy.” The set list can be found here. A podcast of the hour-long program in its entirety can be found here. Please keep in mind that it’s over 50MB in size!

Nice selection, I should iTune them for myself. ;-)

Thanks! It was great fun, and - in my opinion at least - an overly generous gesture on the part of the radio station - but I'll take it!
I download archived podcasts of this show (freely available from the http://wmbr.mit.edu/ website) and "Aural Fixation" every week and listen to them while commuting to and from work. Also worthwhile, Friday morning's "The Scene," featuring countrymen Nick Saloman and Paul Simmons of The Bevis Frond.
