    BLAG, not Blog

When I’m not herding bits at my place of employment, writing haiku or drinking beer, I’m probably sitting in front of my humble home desktop computer, installing yet another Linux Distribution. Never afraid to break something that worked perfectly well to begin with, I’ve partitioned my hard drive such that I can boot four unique systems: Ubuntu 6.06, Gentoo 2006.0, SUSE 10.1, and my current favorite, BLAG. Always a sucker for recursive acronyms, BLAG stands for BLAG Linux and GNU, with the initial BLAG signifying the Brixton (UK) Linux Action Group. They've chosen Fedora Core 5 as a Linux kernel and have bundled it with an impressive arsenal of free software. Add to that the leftist political mindset of the development community and I’m frankly wondering why I had’t heard of the distro before.

Oh well, I guess I’ve just outted myself as a nerd. * sigh *
